Mini Conference Hall

A small seminar hall with LCD presentation facilities and individual mikes with a capacity of 50 seats is available at this centre.

Terms and conditions
  1. The rent or hire charges recommended above is for 8 hrs / day. The Competent authority can permit to extend the above 8 hrs to 10 hrs for which the party has to get prior permission and need to pay additional charges of Rs.500.00/ hr for Mini Conference Hall and Rs. 1000.00 / hr for Main Conference Hall.
  2. The Halls may be rented out for only Non-Political meetings.
  3. Since these Halls were created for Institute meetings, Halls need to be rented out only for meetings and not for any sort of recreation parties or marriage functions.
  4. The full amount towards the rent / hire charges need to be paid at least three days prior to the meeting as an advance.
  5. Twenty percent of the full amount also to be paid along with the rent amount as security deposit and this amount will be released within next working day if damages are not made to the facility provided. If any damages are found to be made to the facility available, the security deposit will be released after deducting the charges towards repair.
  6. If advance booking made and the party could not conduct the meeting on the hired day the security deposit made by the party will be forfeited.
  7. Occupation time permitted is 8.00 hours (10.00 A.M. to 6.00 PM ) in normal cases with normal charges.
  8. If more than 8 hours needed for conducting meetings, two more hours can be extended (10.00 AM to 8.00PM ) for which prior permission of the competent authority needs to be taken by the party and an additional amount of Rs.500.00 for Mini Conference Hall and Rs.1000.00 for Main Conference Hall need to be paid.
  9. Consumption of alcohol and smoking is strictly prohibited in the building.
  10. Application duly filled by the party need to be submitted to competent authority at least by 3 days in advance and prior permission of the competent authority is obtained.
  11. Allotment of the Halls will be done on first come first served basis.
  12. There is no dining facility inside the building of Conference Halls. Meals will neither be allowed inside Halls nor in Lounge.
  13. Tea, Coffee and Snacks can be served in the lounge but are not allowed inside the Halls.
  14. The amount towards rent need to be paid as DD drawn in favour of ICAR Unit, DCR, Puttur, payable at Puttur, DK, Karnataka. Asst. Administrative Officer.
